Monroe Catacomb Tunnel Explored | Room 2: The Midway. This is one of the largest room in the Catacomb tunnel network. This room splits off into two systems. The left path will take you through system 2 which is much tighter and wetter than system 1. The system to the right is System 1 and here you’ll find more debris in the tunnel but with more space and less water. Although it is easier to get lost. The Midway has sitting room and is surprisingly cozy for mid-tunnel brakes. It has walls similar to that of The Ruins and there is a drainage grate for natural light. This room is part of System 1. The average tunnel explorer will make it here before turning back.
