So on December, 24th 2019 I hatched my last shiny. a shiny Sinistea. That shiny took 4 days and over 2031 eggs. A friend suggested a shiny Wooloo. I started on 12/24/19 with breeding a German Wooloo with a English Ditto using the Masuda Method.

University had rolled around in January 2020 so I started my classes. Well the pandemic hit in March. on February 26th, I became ill and was in a lot of pain. It took me a month after our college closed to get diagnosed. By the end of April I had been diagnosed with a bad gallbladder. I had failed gallbladder surgery in May, and had two weeks to recover. They waited a month and on June 25 , I had another operation. During my recovery I had another health issue . so 2020 I had to focus on my health

So 2021 rolls around and I decided to pursue this shiny hunt again in the Summer. I decided to get the shiny charm for Sword . And then hatch more eggs. I hatched over 1100 before trying the chaining method. I had chained and chained , but no luck. By August 25, 2021 I began a quest to finish ny dex to get my shiny charm in Shield .

On August 26, 2021 I started the chaining and encounter method in Shield, and after a day of on and off hunting I got my shiny in 74 encounters. That took less time than it did in Sword. I felt really emotional seeing this shiny.
