The Nu Metal Era: Asking Alexandria’s Guitarist Calls it One of the Best Times for Metal Music
Talking about Ben Bruce’s opinion on nu metal, a subgenre of heavy metal that emerged in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Ben Bruce is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of Asking Alexandria, a British metalcore band that formed in 2006. He is also a solo artist and a producer. He has expressed his admiration for nu metal in several interviews and social media posts. He said that nu metal was one of the best eras of metal ever and that he grew up listening to bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Slipknot, and Papa Roach.
