The Number of the Beast (folk cover) - Iron Maiden | Katja Savia
68In this episode, I'm turning one of Iron Maiden's iconic pieces The Number of the Beast into a neofolk / traditional Finnish folk version. "Chants were praised, as they start to cry, hands held to the sky" lyrics are telling of a vision of a pagan ritual sacrifice. I felt compelled to add as many acoustic percussion instruments as possible including Kantele - a Finnish traditional instrument.
