20The Order: 1886 is a third person shooter game set in London, year 1886, during the time an old order of knights keep the world safe from half breeds, creatures half human and beast. The main protagonist of the game is called in the knights order as Sir Galahad, which is the character used by the player throughout the game. Supporting the main character are his fellow knights Lady Igraine and his mentor and long-time partner Sir Percival and also a knight-in-training Marquis De Lafayette. Together this group will fight the half breeds and uncover secrets that will affect the whole of London and the center core of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round table.
The main strength of this PS4 exclusive is its great graphics, realistic movement and facial animations, detailed environments and awesome cinematography; it’s like both watching and playing a 3D film at the same time. Its gameplay is your typical third person shooter added some interactive gameplay during its cutscenes which despite not great, they did a solid job at that aspect. However, it’s main flaws are it’s very short campaign, lack of replayability, lack of multiplayer mode or challenge mode and how irrelevant the collectibles lore in connection to the main story.
