The Oreo Games | 3 Games From Game Theory
3We play a series of 3 games from Game Theory to get the most Oreo cookies!
Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Split up into teams and each team must decide if they want to "steal" or "share". If both team chooses "share", they only get one cookie each. If both chooses "steal", they get nothing and the pot goes to Kou and Leah. If one team chooses "steal" and the other chooses "share", the team that chose "steal" gets all of it.
Game 2: The Ultimatum
Each player draws a card to get a certain amount of Oreo cookies to distribute it to the group however he likes. If everyone agrees with the distribution, then it is settled. If not, no one gets anything.
Game 3: The Public Good
There will be a certain number of Oreo's that we must donate to the public. We each decide privately how much we'll donate from our share towards that number. If the total amount donated is equal to or greater than the goal, then we are good. If we fail to reach that number, we all will lose 1 cookie.
