The Outsider Who Loved Gensokyo: Touhou RPG Project - Part 101 (Recruitable Ruukoto & True Route Part 1)

After all those follow-up events after completing the first half of the incident for a while, here is the first part of the true route that takes a sharp turn in term of mood and direction when compared to the events of the default normal route. The first scene happens in Makai III and unless Makai content was cleared before doing the first half of the incident, the event is unskippable. Ruukoto also becomes officially recruitable as a party member who starts at level 70. More details about the update are available further down below in the video description.

The event in Makai III has various variables that affects the dialogue bits such as meeting a specific boss earlier, completing the Maze of Boundary, recruiting the character introduced after completing the maze and how many bad ending points the player has among other things.

This new update contains everything shown in the previous parts and this one. There is no longer a 4th save giving starting bonuses for players who already played the game before. However, there is now a white cat near Yukari's house (impossible to miss, it is visible after the opening cutscenes) that'll raise the main character to lvl 70, give the Bootleg Kusanagi, 500,000 Yen and give spells to remove enemies quickly.

This is meant to minimize the chances of crashes from using a modified save file while also still allowing players to resume where they were much faster. This is also handy for those who wishes to play to read the story or other content that is available. The new NPC will be removed once the game is completed.

Information about the update:

- To recruit Ruukoto, the player must complete the Probability Space Hypervessel and then go talk to Yukari. Once that is done, Ruukoto will appear in Mayohiga.

- The encounter in Makai III becomes immediately accessible after completing the first part of the incident. Reimu, Marisa, Alice, Yuuka and Byakuren do not need to be recruited to all appear. If the player goes solo during that event, Reimu, Alice and Yuuka will join the party all at lvl 70 for the boss fight.
