The more I think about the PS5, the more I think that the engineers and hardware architects did an impressive job at designing a unique system. One of the chief advantages of the PS4 was that its hardware architecture was very similar to a PC using x86 hardware which brought down development time dramatically. Yet the disadvantage was that PC technology gap widened as the generation went on, and the PS4 struggled to keep up. The PS5 response to this very problem may be one that the PC may struggle to solve.
