About The Pedestrian
The Pedestrian is a 2.5D puzzle platformer that takes “puzzle platforming” literally.
You play as The Pedestrian (aka the male bathroom symbol) who works in a restroom sign standing beside his Beloved (the female symbol). When she disappears, you must escape your day job and embark on a perilous journey where you progress by piecing the “sign world” back together in search of the one you love.
The Pedestrian features
Puzzles
Planning, moving, connecting, adjusting, tweaking, winning! Puzzles are simple - get from the start to the end, but as they say, “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” Use creativity to rearrange and connect the signs to create a path to continue your journey. The Pedestrian must use his creative ability and puzzle-solving skills to avoid and overcome obstacles in the signs.

The adventure takes The Pedestrian through signs located in a variety of environments.

Eerie and Empty Airport
Dark and Damp Basement
Wordless gameplay
No more walls of text! All puzzle mechanics are taught using symbols and animations, while story elements are portrayed around gameplay. The real-world public sign system is in place to give information without the use of text. The reason being, so that people who travel to other countries can still understand where things are and the rules of a given location without needing to know the language. This is also the object of “The Pedestrian.” We are crossing the barriers of language and culture by making all our information understandable through simplistic sign-style symbols.
