The Phantom Pain MAD
I've been playing the phantom pain for a while, and one thing about mgsv's stealth that really hits me is how the stealth is "soft stealth" there's no meter or indicator, you just hide in some tall grass or behind a slight rise in the ground, blend into surrounding shadows based on where the enemy is positioned in the lighting and hope they don't enter the shadows where their sight can adjust.
it's a very intuitive stealth mechanic that requires you to use common sense, kind of like how los2 required common sense to navigate certain boss fights and stealth sequences.
in fact, it feels like mgsv takes a cue from the los2 stealth in that you have to use common sense to get past those scenarios.
