The PlayStation Showcase 2023 Was Weak
761No other way to say it, the Playstation showcase 2023 was weak and missed the mark. I did my own PlayStation Showcase live stream and reaction. The Playstation leaks on Metal Gear Solid remake definitely took some of its punch away. But the absence of first party studios was incredibly disappointing.
The Marvel's Spider-Man 2 gameplay was great, and seeing more Final Fantasy 16 gameplay was nice. And the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake was also a high point. But so many games were multiplatform and a lot of the trailers were just CGI with no gameplay. I accept that looking for a Bloodborne remake or Bloodborne 2 is always a stretch. But this did not feel like the Phase 2 of PS5 that we were looking for.
Where was Death Stranding 2, TLOU Factions, the Wolverine game, and PlayStation PC games?
