Yes, we are playing as the "plot" of BASARA herself, Kasuga. Kasuga as a character is a really good character to play as. Personality wise however, I don't see her other than getting horny of Kenshin. To be honest, she's always horny. Maybe that's why she's a fan favorite.

Sengoku BASARA 2 Heroes is the expansion for Sengoku Basara 2, released by Capcom for the PlayStation 2 and Wii on November 29, 2007. The game improved from what Capcom built in Sengoku BASARA 2. The game also introduced 8 new characters, with the total roster of 30 characters. Personally, this is the best Warriors or Musou game for the PS2.
