Google Researchers David Konerding and Kai Kohlhoff discuss how the cloud can change science as we know it. By creating a system that works across Google's data centers to perform hundreds of thousands of simulations at the same time, scientists will soon be able to observe how molecules move and interact. Kai's work was recently featured on the cover of Nature Chemistry, and his work is laying the foundation for a new age in scientific breakthrough. David Konerding is a Research Scientist at Google and is responsible for the development of this experimental architecture.
