The final moments of m latest run of Metroid Prime on Hyper Mode, practicing for this race. The boss gauntlet of my latest run of Metroid Prime left me with the unfortunate realization that any attempt at Hyper Mode will be extended by nearly 20 minutes of in-game time due to the absurd amount of damage they take as opposed to Normal or Veteran. This is no truer than on Prime himself; you're basically at the mercy of RNG in hopes that he actually lays his pools quickly. As you can see...that's not always going to happen. The silver lining is that I can definitely lower my best Veteran time to sub 3:30, which is quite good for a run with no sequence-breaking.
