7Hello, welcome to my channel. Today, we're discussing the PS4 emulator known as shadps4. Currently, it's one of the more actively developed emulators compared to others for the PS4. Additionally, this emulator is more universal as it runs on both Windows and Linux. Unlike many other emulators that typically only support Linux, shadps4 supports both operating systems. Okay, as you can see in this image, shadps4 version 0.1.0 has been released with the latest updates.
So, in this latest version, it's now showing indications that it can run commercial games or those that are fairly large in size. This update is really impressive. Remember, this emulator is relatively new. Even though it's new, it's already starting to run some of the larger games that are well-known.
Alright, let's discuss what's new in this latest update. Let's take a look at the progress on their Discord. One example is that Red Dead Redemption can now be played, although not all features may be functional yet. As you just saw, Red Dead Redemption is one such example where it can now be accessed in the game. And then there's One Piece Ultimate World Red; let's see how its performance is.
It's really amazing how this update is progressing. For AAA games, it's becoming much better, now allowing access into the games. Are there any other games? It seems there's nothing else interesting. For those of you who want to test the games right now, I suggest sticking to 2D games. For AAA games, you can get into them, but gameplay isn't fully supported yet. Remember, AAA games are still unable to fully function in gameplay. But at least with this latest update, it's becoming more promising. Plus, this emulator is very new.
