"I'm on a quest to play every fighting game ever, and I'm taking my friends along for the ride."

Made and published by the people responsible for Dynasty Warriors, You would be hard pressed to find a game to compare Destrega to. The closest resemblance that I can confidently mention would be Ehrgeiz due to the similarity in movement, though Destrega lacks the finer intricacies of mobility that Ehrgeiz thrives on. Fights take place in large multi-level environments where the players can run around and jump with full three-dimensional movement. When up close your three attack buttons do physical attacks and combos, and when farther away those buttons fire magic attacks that can be combined to create stronger projectiles. It has an emphasis on rock/paper/scissors, where certain attacks will flat out beat other ones which encourages the player to focus on their movement and attack combinations instead of just running around pressing buttons, as some attacks take longer to charge than others and everything travels at different angles, speeds, and distances. The game also has fairly deep story and lore embedded in it, including a single player mode where you fight a variety of OCs instead of just going through an arcade ladder.
