The Quest - Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[NOT st]
3I am on a quest to play every fighting game ever, and I'm taking my friends along for the ride.

Although not the "Latest" UNIL game anymore, Late[st] features the same gameplay seen in all of the revisions of Under Night, simply lacking some extra characters and balance adjustments. It is a very ground based game for an anime fighter and has a style all it's own. Most interesting is the GRD system, which is basically a tug of war mechanic. Every few cycles the game will check to see which player has built up the GRD meter more, and award them a state called "Vorpal". Nobody actually knows what this state does, but it is believed to be a very important component to playing the game well.
