The RAF's 84 Squadron has marked its 50th anniversary of operations in Cyprus. 🇨🇾

Based at RAF Akrotiri, its personnel have conducted non-stop flying missions on the island since 1972 – winching people to safety and fighting fierce local fires – as the last remaining search and rescue squadron in the UK military. 🚁
