Best game of 2025
2nd Favorite game of all time right behind Cuphead
The gameplay is EXTREMELY ENGAGING, REPLAYABLE, TENSE (by the time of finishing this game I was already half-way through my 2nd playthrough. As I'm writing this weeks after this video's recording, I finished my 2nd playthrough and started a New Game + in hardcore mode)
The story is pretty great and I love how it doesn't take itself seriously!!
The lengths this game goes to make sure the player has a fun time throughout the entire experience is wild. It keeps on elevating with its craziness every single second.
There are some REALLY TERRIFYING MOMENTS almost all the time whether it's from tense gameplay (most of the time) or story moments.
Although the last chapters were a little less story focused and more gameplay, it made it a bit of a drag during the island hordes.
I really love what they did with Ashley and how she wasn't an annoying damsel in distress. It was awesome seeing her character develop into a more capable person and she was super funny lol.
I really love how this game's story focuses on the progression of Leon Kennedy as a character since RE2 rather than the original just being a campy religious zombie story (I've watched a lot of video comparisons)
Last of all, LEON IS THE GOAT. HE IS THE SINGLE GREATEST PROTAGONIST IN A GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. HE'S BADASS, HE'S HILARIOUS, I LOVE HIM.
