The Rise and Fall of the 2003 TMNT | Complete Series Retrospective
10,000The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a brand that is almost 40 years old and has been reinvented numerous times in it’s lifespan. If I had to guess, I’d say the Turtles are the most recognizable superhero brand that exists outside of the Marvel and DC camps. I am sure that’s up for debate, because I am just making a guess when I say that. It should probably go without saying that my favorite version of the Turtles is the show that aired on 4kids from 2003 to 2009, I mean...have you watched this channel before? But this isn’t just my favorite version of the Turtles, it’s one of my favorite shows to ever exist. If you want to know how seriously I mean that, let’s say I were asked to rewatch the five seasons of Justice League or the first five seasons of the 2003 TMNT, I’d probably pick TMNT. My first upload on Youtube, or at least, the first video uploaded to J’s Reviews was a picture based video complaining about the DVD releases of the 2003 series. A video that dropped on November 8th...or 9th of 2015, I don’t remember which, but it was definitely one of those two. This video is a compilation of the TMNT retrospective I did back in 2021/22, remixed to see each video segway naturally from one to the next. Thought it would be good to do, now that the 20th anniversary of the series is coming up. New videos for the year will begin with the next upload.
