0Introducing "The Rise of Artemis" from "New World: Rise of the Angry Earth." Venture into the Elysian Wilds, where lush greenery and alien landscapes set the stage for encounters with primordial Beast Lords, all under the shadow of the game's main antagonist, Artemis.
Crafting music for this game was a journey through varied emotional layers. We chose to emphasize acoustic, natural sounds to capture Artemis's terraforming abilities, creating a deep, driving force without relying on percussion. Artemis is a nuanced character – despite her flaws and anger, her motivations aren't inherently evil. Her theme had to walk the line between aggression and desperation, and I'm happy to hear that players showed some empathy for her.
