"Damien Darhk is one of the three main antagonists on the season one of The Rival; the other two being Cornelius Stirk and Klaus Opfer.
In the Flashpoint Timeline, Damien is also the leader of the H.I.V.E. And just like his other two iterations in pre and post Flashpoint timeline, he is also bent on causing the Genesis Event. However, his reasons are more nuanced in this alternate timeline.
Damien fought in the World War II - and after he saw the lies and the propaganda said by leaders to make people fight wars just for personal profit, he decided that this world must perish for the new one to rise from the ashes.
Unlike his other two timeline counterparts, Flashpoint Damien Darhk only wants to kill the adults - given he considers them the only ones unable to adapt to the new system after the Genesis Event.
Damien spares the children for they are the solution. And Damien makes sure they are the future."
