The Rivalry That Got Personal: Esports' Most Bitter Feud
Some rivalries are built on mutual respect. On skill. On two competitors who grow into friends by constantly challenging each other.
This is not that kind of rivalry.
Esports' most bitter rivalry is about two players who can't seem to stand each other. Two players who may respect the other as a competitor, but not as a person.
Leffen and Hungrybox, two of the best players in Super Smash Bros. Melee history, but they don't like each other very much. They've both been considered villains at some point in their careers, and while they're mostly beloved now, they still can't get along.
And their bitter feud has dominated Melee for the last couple of years.
