The Road to Level 50 (PC Edition) "Level 40 - Now with live comms in Alhambra"
This may seem like just another road to level 50 video to my viewers, but it represents a huge accomplishment for me in finally being able to successfully install and develop a process for recovering the live microphone reactions I make in real time during the match.
Those reactions are special because they are raw, uncensored and unscripted which means I am likely to react in unpredictable, sometimes crazy way to what happens during the match.
For many of my more recent road to level 50 videos only (this does not effect any xbox or PS3 recordings at all) it meant that I had to choose between the overall quality of the video and frame rate (having to screen capture, which looks awful) over the live reactions.
Well today officially beginning with this video that ends forever. Thanks to Delpit from PS3 he was able to show me a command line based audio and video editing application known as ffmpegs.
This last week I finally was able to figure out with alot of help from Dell exactly how to correctly install the ffmpegs application and then develop a very specific technical process for taking my raw video file and be able to use it to actively select exactly which audio tracks I wanted to be included and ultimately rendered into the final video you are watching here.
This means I will eventually be going back into the road to level 50 series and one by one quietly replacing each video with the restored original complete with the best quality and full audio with live commentary for each and every video.
This will take some time I got to be honest as it will take time to replace every single one but I will a video at a time so just be patience and bear with me as when I am done you will start to realize that videos you thought you had watched before all of sudden both look and sound a whole lot better then you remember.
But for now enjoy the first of many restored videos to come all thanks to ffmpegs. Thank you ever so much dell! You are my hero!!
For anyone that is interested in this software application and how it works here is a link to there website. https://ffmpeg.org/
Enjoy the video, Nax out!
