This teaching explores the sacred mystery of the number twelve as it appears across all ages and world traditions. From Mesopotamia’s twelve gods and Egypt’s twelve hours of day and night, to Greece’s Olympians, Rome’s laws, the tribes of Israel, the apostles of Christ, the twelve Imams of Islam, the zodiac of East and West, the twelve nidanas of Buddhism, the meridians of Taoism, the gates of alchemy, and the nerves of the human brain—everywhere the same pattern unfolds.

This isn’t everything that can be said about it—there is always more, and each time we are only scratching the surface a little bit at a time. I’m not a teacher, I’m not claiming to give the final word. This is simply a place where I store my thoughts. You may learn something from it, but know there is always more to explore.

The wheel of twelve is not a quantity, but a symbol of divine order. It appears in myth, in scripture, in geometry, in the body, in physics, and in the heavens. Twelve encircles the mystery, and the thirteenth, hidden in the center, is the One.

This is the wheel of time, the full body of God, the pattern repeated across all worlds, mirrored fractally in heaven and earth, in mind and cosmos.
