Divide into two teams.
Pile the blocks in the center of the table within easy reach of all the players and place the crown in between the 2 teams.
Each team picks a director, and the rest of their team are makers.
Pick a deck of cards according to the difficulty you want to play.
Shuffle the deck and place it face down on the table.
Each director draws a card.
At the count of 3, they secretly look at their own card at the same time.
The director’s role is to describe the object on the card so their team can build it, without saying the name on the card.
No pointing or gesturing is allowed.
Makers can talk and ask the directors questions.
Once the director thinks the build is completed, yell “crown”!
The makers on their team should grab the crown and place it anywhere on the creation.
If the creation pieces fall, put the crown back and fix it before trying it again.
Once the crown has successfully been placed, play is paused and the opposing team checks if the creation matches the card.
If it is incorrect, then the other team wins the point.
If it is correct, then that team wins the point.
Put the blocks back in the middle, switch roles with your teammates and start another round.
The first team that wins 3 rounds, wins the game!
For added fun, try guessing the name of the object on the card.
In a 2 player game, each player draws a card from the expert deck and whoever completes the creation first wins!
