This is an update to my original video where I discussed the death toll of the Sengoku Jidai. In my first attempt at this, I used the data of battles that we know, to formulate a number of how many may have been killed as a result of the wars. I did not however originally factor in death attributed by wounds and disease, as well as only calculated civilian deaths from totals we already knew. I simply was totaling the amount killed directly by Samurai Armies. This resulted in the original overall number being rather low. In this video I try to rectify that by using data from other wars to try and fill some of the gaps.

(Original Description) How many people died during the Sengoku Jidai? It is a massive yet hard number to pinpoint. In this video I do my best to provide an estimate for such a number of those that were killed as a result of the wars in Japan from 1477-1615.
