Niko meets with Mikhail Faustin and Dimitri Rascalov at Perestroika in Broker.

Faustin, increasingly paranoid and volatile, orders Niko to assassinate Lenny Petrovic, suspecting him of being a rat after Dimitri tells him that Sergei told him that a friend of his in the courts told him that the feds are onto their operation and have been authorized to tap their phones.

Dimitri attempts to defuse the situation, subtly objecting while downplaying Lenny's importance hiding the fact that he is the son of powerful Russian mob boss Kenny Petrovic and tells him that Lenny is "his cousin's boyfriend"

. As Niko sets out on the hit, Faustin provides Lenny's location. Players can optionally call Dimitri, who, caught between loyalty and manipulation, coldly tells Niko: “Do what you have to do.”

This scene quietly marks the big moment of Dimitri’s betrayal : using Niko and Faustin to spark a deadly chain of events.
