Articuno day is the special challenge reward of the Pokemon GO Dortmund Safari Zone event. On July 7th, the legendary raid boss Articuno will be returning to Pokemon GO. For a 3 hour period trainers will have the opportunity to capture a shiny Articuno.

Naturally, you'll want to equip yourself with the best counters to Articuno. What I found when running simulations on Pokebattler and GoBattleSim is that no counter compares to Tyranitar. The Community Day Smack Down Tyranitar is so powerful in this raid that it puts all other Pokemon to shame!
