Rival Locke Rules:
1. All regular nuzlocke rules apply
- Must nickname all Pokémon
- Can only capture the first Pokémon in each route.
- If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and cannot be used.
2. After each gym battle players must battle each other via Wi-Fi.
3. Players must battle each other with the team they used in the gym.
4. The winner of the Wi-Fi battle can choose to either take one Pokémon from their opponent or capture an overworld encounter from the Grand Underground.
- Starter Pokémon CANNOT be traded.
5 Each player's team is limited to the following:
- By Gym 1 only 2 Pokémon in the team.
- By Gym 2 only 4 Pokémon in the team.
- After completion of Gym 2 and Wi-Fi battle full team is useable.
6. Players will compete in obtaining points. The player with the most points after the final Wi-Fi battle wins.
- 1 point for beating gym leader first
- 1 point for wining a Wi-Fi battle
- 2 points for beating the champion first
- 2 points for winning the final Wi-Fi battle
7. If a player whites out the following occurs:
- If lost all Pokémon (none remaining in PC) players may re-roll 3 Pokémon prior to their last gym location.
- If Pokémon are remaining in PC utilize those to proceed.
