SML original Kris Huber returns to the show for some chatter this episode!

The first half of the show is some old school chit chat and Kris and I talk about nothing in particular for a good chunk. We talk about what we've been playing and tackle some minor news before yet another discussion on the recent EA/Battlefront loot crate shenanigans because I have a feeling this is going to be a topic for a good while. Then after Kris heads out, it's business as usual with a nice chunk of reviews!

DarkMika joins(!) the show to check out .hack//G.U. Last Recode, the G.U. trilogy gets remastered and a fourth chapter thanks to CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco. Jacob Garner writes in a review of Catan Stories: The Legend of the Sea Robbers, a digital text adventuer from Catan Studio & Asmodee Digital. Cole Martin checks out Little Nightmares: The Hideaway, the newest DLC chapter from Tarsier Studios & Bandai Namco.

Pernell Vaughan checks out Ayo: A Rain Tale, a desert based adventure platformer from Inkline Ltd. Pernell also checks out the evolutionary experience Sparkle 2 EVO from Forever Entertainment while I cover the point and click adventure Violett also from Forever Entertainiment, both on Switch. Lastly, Pernell reviews the Switch version of Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the insane octopus sim from Young Horses.

Tom Miller joins to check out Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, a puzzle platforming adventure from Flashbulb Games (Press Play) and Wired Productions. Finally, Chris Taylor joins to check out the latest old school Nintendo 3DS RPG Bonds of the Skies from Hit-Point Co. and KEMCO! Only had one episode this week, so it's a packed lineup!

Music this episode is from Kris since he was on and all and it includes two of his SML Christmas contributions from years past!

Kris Huber - Castle Crashers Christmas
Kris Huber - Smokey and the Bandit Town (Shantae)
Kris Huber - Brain Scraps (Sonic)
Kris Huber - The Night Santa Went Crazy (Weird Al Cover)
