I thought of doing this randomly somewhere at the start of December last year iirc and started it in early January this year, fully expecting it to be hard as fuck and taking me probably 100 hours or smth. So turns out it didn't.
While I did have experience with all maps because I had goldened them individually before, the last time I touched solaris and lunaris was back in February of last year, and stellaris in November but that was a very small portion of the run anyway. I did not expect for my muscle memory to come back so incredibly quickly.
All my practice went smoothly, I got segments really quickly, hell I even did Acceptance ~ End (solaris recon to end) BEFORE I even started learning first third which was so ????????????? I also got to recon on my 4th attempt. Everything was going way so smoothly.
I did however start mindblocking recon real hard with getting 11 deaths to it in runs before I finally went to its bootcamp and got a run to Lunaris, which died in flag 6 by a single fucking pixel and 1 deathed???? Insane fluke it was wild but then the next session I FUCKING GET IT?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? What the fuck is this I only did 51 runs.
Might be biased since everything went smoothly but I enjoyed this so much it was so fun to play, learn and do runs with; even despite solaris golden on its own being not really that great.
Getting this in only 19 days of sessions with 31 hours (+20 of an estimate for doing all goldens from scratch) was so unexpected for me, this really goes to show that I've been underestimating my skill with this game by a LOT. With this in mind I might go for a t18 (low t0) this year, idk which though !!
Yeah that was that ig, I'll make a strat video for all of this soonish for anyone wanting to attempt any goldens in the campaign or even fgr (it's fun trust me).
