November 1952: in the freezing air above Japanese waters with a low cloud cover and almost no visibility, four American Pilots flying Panther F9F-5s met seven MiG-15s that were not supposed to be there. Due to aircraft malfunctions, three of the four American pilots could not engage, leaving only one pilot, Lt. Royce Williams, to face off with the superior fighter jets.
