2On this episode of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, our Bros have to backtrack just to move on in the game again. It's weird when games do this. There are some exceptions like LEGO games, but they don't make it a requirement to go back and collect whatever it is you missed. This game requires that you have a certain number of Goofy Goober tokens before you move on. SpongeBob: Battle of Bikini Bottom also did this, but it gets a pass, because it was a open world game and they provided you enough Golden Spatulas to move on. This is a linear story game. You feel kinda cheated when you are locked out of a level. Bottom line, this shouldn't have a similar unlock system to Battle of Bikini Bottom.
