For the final project for my (online) video editing class, I have used Adobe Premiere to produce a trailer for The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie reworked as a more mature action-thriller from its original family comedy-adventure genre.

Below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, a civilization known as Bikini Bottom is on the brink of inbalance and collapse in the midst of the theft of the crown of King Neptune (Jeffrey Tambor). When Mr. Eugene Krabs (Clancy Brown), owner of the Krusty Krab, is framed for the crime, his young fry cook SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny), along with his best friend Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) must defend his boss' innocence by venturing a perilous cross-country drive into a place called Shell City to retrieve the stolen crown. Marking the directorial debut of marine biologist turned SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie also stars Rodger Bumpass, Scarlett Johansson, Alec Baldwin and David Hasselhoff as himself.
