In Rocket League season 4, Psyonix released the most hated rewards of all time. The current system in which they reveal the season rewards at the end of the season, after each player has already grinded for them, is definitely not working out, and it never has. We constantly see disappointment among the community about how "horrible" the season rewards are, even when they are actually pretty good by most standards. But in this season in particular, when they are truly ugly by most standards, the response from the community was far worse than we could have imagined. Almost no one actually thinks the rewards are cool. Despite being brand new items that everyone has received, you rarely ever see them equipped in game because of how widely considered they are to be ugly.
