558TV Shows today are not how they used to be. We have some shows that have bigger budgets than blockbuster movies, shows with extremely cinematic storytelling, and with streaming service after streaming service popping up advertising their exclusive shows, it kinda makes you forget that TV shows used to be inferior to movies. Movies used to be an experience and Tv shows were kinda just there to hold you over until the next big movie. Now, it can almost be seen as the opposite. Tv shows now are just movies with a much longer runtime. This seems to be the direction that TV shows are going to be taking from now on, but really none of this was possible without LOST.
