The Titan that Kills Demons in 40K - Explained
During the Great Crusade, the Emperor Himself, driven by his relentless pursuit of defending humanity, delved into the ancient sciences of the Dark Age of Technology and from the shadows of the Imperium's darkest secrets, the Psi-Titan came out as a fusion of science and psychic power. The emperor conceived and created the Ciricrux Anima, a psychic amplification matrix which would allow for a god engine to be merged with the powers of bound alpha psykers, creating a mix of a guiding machine spirit, psyker power sources and a null anti psyker configuration. The Ordo Sinister, a secretive Titan Legion, embraced this arcane knowledge. They took the mighty Warlord Titan, the epitome of the Adeptus Titanicus, and twisted it into the Warlord-Sinister Psi-Titan.
So in the Warhammer lore, the psi titan which is just another version of a Warlord titan would therefore stand approximately 33 meters (108 feet) in height, as by the Warhammer 40,000: Apocalypse rulebook. Like the other warlord titans its first defensive line consists of six Void Shield generators, which creates a force field that deflects or absorbs and block incoming enemy weapons. The shields are stated to be able to endure sustained bombardment from innumerable tanks and artillery without any loss in shield strength. It also has the adamantium armored platings that all titans have. So, what makes this titan defensive capabilities unique though, is its ability to generate and give off a psychic vibe that instills terror in enemies near its vicinity. Powered by the forbidden Ciricrux Anima, the Warlord-Sinister Psi-Titan wields a psychic might on an immense scale able to Unleash dread with the "Shroud of Terror," that breaks even the strongest of wills.
