After much less-than-positive feedback of my earlier video (which was based on gaming website IGN's top-100 rankings), I decided to look into a user-vote based list. And here it is.
Looking at the results, it's not *that* much different than IGN's picks - but many of the missing titles that were mentioned in the comments of the IGN video did in fact turn up here (e.g. Tekken 5!)
This list does also seem to skew heavily towards Japanese developers; it's a little JRPG-heavy, and also very franchise heavy (3 Ratchet and Clanks, 3 Jaks, 3 Guitar Heroes, etc).
To the people who complain about sports games - yes, there are two sports games on this list. Guess what? Lots of people play sports games - and the votes here prove it.
To all the people who kept complaining about Dragon Ball missing from the IGN list: it's here; to all the people who kept complaining about Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks missing from the IGN list ... it's not here either - which bummed me out a little.
