Ellie is kind of... a lot in The Last of Us: Part II. I say that in the nicest possible way but it's hard to overlook the fact that she is a revenge driven megalomaniacal troglodyte throughout the majority of the story. This is a marked shift from her behavior in the original game where she was more of a shy and quirky teenager. Don't get me wrong, it makes sense that her behavior in this game, years and years later, would be different. A lot changes throughout ones teen years. However, Ellie's rampage through Seattle is not explained purely by the ever-changing hormonal soup that is a teen's brain. Rather, it seems as though there's something else going on. Perhaps, a tumor?
