I've been putting this off for a while and I wanted to get it out of the way sooner than later (or worse, never). I actually died a few times in this run, so if you see some random fade-outs/ins, it's because I edited some failed attempts. I didn't really care about doing this all in one go, anyway.
That being said, Episode 4 is a considerable step up in difficulty compared to what came previously (including Doom II, which came out before Thy Flesh Consumed). I feel like it kind of upfronts the difficulty a bit much, though. I actually died a lot of times in Hell Beneath, and Perfect Hatred was not that much better largely due to its hot start, but the rest of Episode 4 was pretty tame in comparison (except for Against Thee Wickedly, which is the other really hard map). I died a couple of times in Sever the Wicked, though, and that was a pretty hard map (I'd say that one is probably my favorite map in this episode). Unruly Evil is so easy it's actually off-putting, like it doesn't belong in this episode. Overall, it was nice to replay Episode 4, it was a fun challenge.
Next stop is Doom II: Hell on Earth. I'm not sure exactly how I want to tackle it, if I should play through it with regular Ultra-Violence or do it with Multiplayer spawns.
