The Thrustmaster T248 is an interesting Logitech G920 alternative. It's slightly more expensive but you can find it on sale for a similar price to the Logitech G920. This makes it one of the competitors in the Budget Sim Racing Wheel with Force Feedback area (G29, T248, PXN V10, T128). The FFB is slightly more than the G29 (3.5Nm vs 2.5Nm). You also get a telemetry display on the T248 which only works with a few games right now.
People like @OCRacing have said that this wheel isn't as good for drifting though. This sim wheel is a massive upgrade compared to playing racing games on a controller. The Xbox vibrating triggers are good, but Force Feedback feels better. It's also easier to make small adjustments on the wheel.
This wheel comes with the Thrustmaster T3PM Pedals. These pedals come with 2 springs which allow you to adjust the force needed to brake (it's still not as good as a set of load cell pedals). These pedals unfortunately don't have a carpet gripper like the G29 does so you'll likely need to buy a sim rig or a wheel stand.
The biggest issues with the T248 is the lack of something like G29 mods community (where you can get F1 rim mods). There are no mods of the T248 because of how new it is and it's probably difficult to mod.
Also, the Thrustmaster accessories are more expensive than the G29 accessories. The TH8A is hilariously expensive compared to the G29 shifter. You can also upgrade the T3PM to the T-LCM load cell pedals. While the starting price is expensive, you can at least carry over the Thrustmaster accessories to newer and better wheel bases like the T300, TX, TS-XW, Thrustmaster T818 Direct Drive etc. I will do a full Thrustmaster T248 review later.
