The Ultimate RUST Electric Light Setup – Using Only 2 Parts!
The Ultimate RUST Electric Light Setup – Using Only 2 Parts!
The Rust Electrics update introduced a powerful new system that allows players to create intricate electrical circuits for automation, base defence, and lighting. This update significantly expanded the game's mechanics by adding various components that work together to create advanced electrical setups. Here’s a breakdown of some key elements introduced:
Ceiling Light
The Ceiling Light is an electrical component designed to illuminate bases efficiently. It requires a power source and provides a bright, stable light, making it an ideal choice for indoor lighting solutions. Unlike torches or campfires, the Ceiling Light doesn’t emit smoke and can be turned on and off with switches or automated circuits.
AND Switch
The AND Switch is a logic component that requires two power inputs to activate. This means both connected circuits must be supplying power for the output to be active. It’s essential for creating security systems, automated doors, and complex base mechanisms where multiple conditions must be met before triggering an action.
HBHF Sensor (Heartbeat, Breath, and Footstep Sensor)
The HBHF Sensor is a motion-detection device that detects players within its range. It can be set to detect friendly or hostile players, making it useful for automated traps, turrets, or door systems. When powered, the sensor will output a signal when a player is detected, allowing for advanced security setups and automation.
These components, along with other electrical items introduced in the update, opened the door for more strategic base-building, automation, and creative contraptions in Rust.
