Dr. Mercer's Hunter is a Necromorph that has the ability to regenerate from being dismembered! The Hunter's creation began when Mercer inserted a piece of Necromorph tissue directly into the cranium of a patient named Brant Harris. After the first surgery he began to slowly transform into the creature. The Hunter was experiment developed by Mercer. After numerous surgeries on Harris, his final vision was created. The missing link in Necromorph evolution to final bring Convergence!
