A piece for a string orchestra which I attempted to compose about 1-2 years ago, but at the time I ran out of inspiration and put it aside. It's finally done now! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, though I suppose it's nothing extra special! I hope you enjoy it!

Things:
1. I'm slightly doubtful that actually playing a staccato C and D at the same time on a double bass sounds like a drum beat, but oh well.
2. It is possible that I have exceeded the ranges of several of the instruments, but don't tell anyone.
3. I hope you find it interesting!
4. I just adore the sound of violin glissandi. Incredibly awesome.
5. The end (holding D on the double bass alone) was shamelessly stolen from Shiro Sagisu's arrangement of 'Tsubasa wo Kudasai' for the movie 'Evangelion 2.0: You can (not) Advance".
6. The final bar in the sheet music is an empty bar, which I didn't put in the video.
7. The midi file is actually pretty amusing.
8. I made up the quotation. It's pretty cool, right? Right?
