Can The magic and beauty of the world of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter bring the experience of games such as Gone Home to the console, or will it's lack of gameplay mechanics hold the game back in the end? Will the lack of the games guiding mechanisms hold the game back or actually help the game as people get lost in it? I'm here to find out what The Vanishing of Ethan Carter does well and poorly, and why the term Walking Simulator may not be the greatest of terms to use.
