This project combine the two things that I enjoy the most: knifemaking and aluminum casting. This knife is fully functional with heat treated 1070 high carbon steel and aluminum handle, if you are asking yourself: even the original one has the handle part in aluminum. All that being said I haven't sharpened it on purpose because these type of knives are illigal here in Italy.
