Honestly, while getting the screencaps for the eyes-I feel bad about saying that the staff didn't try. They did, for sure. Maybe the budget wasn't great, maybe there were some issues behind the scenes, I don't know. BUT it's not as if I can recommend this, even when it's flawed, just because the eyes look so damn good.

Point is-what is here reminds me a lot of the Soul Eater. And I loved Soul Eater so much that it remains the only anime which I've read the whole manga for afterwards. Loved the ending in the manga, horrible in the anime by the way. Anyway, IF Soul Eater only had 10or so episodes, it would also not really be a good recommendation. Because the "meat," the main juicy part of the story is later on. This is just the foundation. Same thing here. The parts shown are pretty interesting, but what's actually important is the staff AFTER. All the captured witches had to go somewhere, and it's not as if this is the beginning of the story either. Guideau and Ashaf had been at it for years. And they aren't alone.

So all this to say-sure as hell hope for more seasons. As is...it's okay. With GORGEOUS eyes.
