In this episode, Geralt indirectly confronts "Raymond", confirming his suspicions about the man's identity, and lures him out to the swamp tower, where he might allegedly stand a better chance against Azar's magic. Before leaving for the swamp, however, Geralt has time enough to make an appearance at Shani's party - along with his invited guests, some of whom quickly form a bond with Shani (Zoltan, Siegfried) while others clearly do not (Carmen). After the party concludes in a romantic tryst, it is time to finally leave for the Swamp - where Geralt defeats an ancient golem, activates all the obelisks necessary to unlock the door to the Mage's Tower, and finally sets a trap for Azar Javed, though the resulting encounter with Azar and the Professor ends in a somewhat unpredictable and inconclusive result.
