The Wolverine 2013 - After The Credits Scene Explained!
Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be giving my explanation of the after the credits or post credits scene from James Mangold's The Wolverine 2013. The following contains spoilers!
So at the end of the wolverine we have a very interesting post credits scene where Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian Mckellen return to reprise their roles as Professor X and Magneto. A lot of people are wondering how this is possible after of course Professor X supossedly died in X-men 3 the last stand X3 and Magneto lost his powers in the movie as well. Well as it seems the so called cure of course was not permanent and his powers returned to him as well as Mystiques powers returning to her. Professor X I believe transferred his consciousness at the end of X3 into the body of that man that was basically comatose and had no brain activity what so ever. I believe the Charles Xavier that Wolverine is seeing is a projection from the astral plane of existence which has not been explored yet in the X-men Fox cinematic universe. Just like in so many of the famous x-men comic books Professor X is projecting a mental image for everyone and existing on the astral plane. I assume his purpose is he is not done protecting mutant kind yet and the new Sentinel threat from Bolovard Trask has brought him back to his call of duty. Magneto is basically the same and this is one of the most interesting post credits scenes we have seen in a Marvel movie. I absolutely cannot wait for X-men Days of Future past and I had to do this video giving my thoughts on everything. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and please let me know your thoughts on the return of Charles Xavier. The only man that I consider to be the true leader of the X-men. Yeah yeah cyclops is a field leader, whatever. Thanks for watching guys! .
